What Makes This Brewery a Must-Visit Destination? My Review + Far Route’s Amazing Performance!
Looking for a unique spot to spend a weekend evening in Waterloo, Illinois? Look no further than Stubborn German Brewing Company. This gem of a brewery, located right in the town square, is a must-visit for beer aficionados and music lovers alike.
Recently, I had the pleasure of checking out Stubborn German for myself, to see the locally renowned music duo, Far Route, perform. And I must say, it was an evening to remember.
Stubborn German sits in the town square and offers the highest quality German and American beers, bourbon barrel-aged beers, and even their own Oktoberfest, Stubbornfest all year long! In addition, they even make some delicious mixed drinks and serve wine and soda appealing to each and every customer. And let’s not forget the warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages board games and lively conversation!
But the real highlight of the evening was Far Route. This two-man duo has been making waves in the local music scene for some time, and it’s easy to see why. From classic rock to country and everything in between, their covers are truly impressive!
As we sat sipping our drinks and mingling, we couldn’t help but tap our toes and sing along. Some of my favorites of the night included their rendition of “All I Want” by Kodaline and their stunning encore of “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon!
All in all, it was an unforgettable evening of great beer, fantastic music, and an unbeatable atmosphere. So if you’re in the area, be sure to check out Stubborn German Brewing Company and keep an eye out for upcoming performances by Far Route – you won’t be disappointed!
